Andante Cantabile for Trombone Quartet

This is an arrangement of the second movement of Tchaikovsky’s First String Quartet, Andante Cantabile, for trombone quartet. After this piece was successfully premiered in Moscow in 1871, Tchaikovsky later arranged this movement for cello and string orchestra in 1888. It is also known for being used at the start of Johan de Meij’s wind band piece, Extreme Make-Over.
